Solar Installation Technician Texas’ leading solar photovoltaic design & installation company for over 10 years is hiring installers! Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with project manager and crew lead to properly install PV systems.
- Verify system performance to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform warranty service as directed.
- Prepare trouble reports on defective equipment.
- Ensure that project site is safe at all times.
- Ability to travel up to 100%.
- Maintain crew vehicle and project site cleanliness and properly dispose of trash and recyclable materials.
- Keep abreast of changes and new developments in product and installation techniques.
Education/Experience
Experience in commercial/industrial electrical construction. Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Certificates and Licenses Must have valid driver's license. Must have Electrical Apprentice License (Journeymen are also invited to apply) Must possess, or be working toward, NABCEP certification.
