From 1 kW to 180 kW installations, Meridian has installed the full range and breadth of non-residential installations. While smaller systems may include batteries for energy storage, most commercial photovoltaic systems are grid-tied, exporting all of their power into major facilities, thereby offsetting the amount of energy those facilities need to acquire from their retail electric provider. Some of Meridian's installations are owned and operated by an electric utility and are simply another power production node on that utility's distribution grid.
