System Power Rating: 3.7kW Location: Washington, DC/Austin, TX
Meridian has served as sponsor and advisor, donating time and materials to the University of Texas at Austin, School of Architecture's Solar Decathlon team in both the 2002 and 2005 competitions. The teams designed, built and transported advanced housing powered only by the sun. Over 120,000 people visited the National Mall in DC to see the solar home and all of its energy saving products.
