This system was designed and installed as part of a pilot project for the Town Lake Trail Foundation. Since sections of the Trail are dangerous to use in the dark, the intention of this project was to mitigate existing "trip and fall" hazards, and secondarily, demonstrate that the Trail can be lighted in an aesthetically and environmentally sensitive manner.
