This system was designed to provide a net of 50% of the residence's power, and 100% of its water, requirements. The sun-synchronous water pump pumped ~600 GPD into a reservoir while the large array at this weekend house sold power to the local utility during the week, and maintained reserve batteries during the weekend for critical medical power devices. |
